Terms of use for this website

In effect from November 4, 2026

Valewood Advisors offers valewoodadvisors.com on the terms below. They apply to the use of the site and to any first contact your team makes with the firm through it. Work beyond that first contact is covered by a separate written agreement.

Business use only

Valewood Advisors works with companies. By using this site or contacting us, your team confirms that it acts on behalf of a business, not for personal, family or household reasons.

What your team tells us

Anything your team sends us should be true, complete and up to date, and the person sending it should have the company's authority to do so. If something changes, let us know.

No guarantee of outcome

Our advice rests on what your company shares with us. We do not promise a particular result. In particular, we do not promise that any funding source will make an offer, or on what terms.

Fees

There is no charge for contacting us or for the first conversation. Work beyond that is described and priced in writing before it begins. Where a plan brings in outside capital, the cost of that capital is set by its provider and shown to your company by that provider.

Phone, email and text

By contacting us, your team agrees that we may reply by phone, email and text message at the numbers and addresses it gives us, including with automated tools. Carrier charges may apply. Your team can stop text messages at any time by replying STOP, and can tell us to stop phoning or emailing.

Limits on our liability

Where the law allows it, Valewood Advisors is not responsible for losses that are indirect, incidental or consequential and that arise from the use of this site or from acting on general information found on it. Where we are responsible for a claim, our liability is limited to the amount your company paid us for the specific work the claim concerns.

Governing law

Valewood Advisors is formed in one US state. That state's law governs these terms, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules, and any dispute is heard in that state's courts.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The terms shown on this page, with the date above, are the ones in force.
